So, I have good news. Knee PT has given me even more weight bearing exercises to do! I still have to do all the boring leg lifts at home, but I am doing body weight exercises now. I can also do squats at home if I wish. I had my re-eval done today. My strength is good (5 out of 5), but my endurance sucks and I need to be able to rock the stairs (which I can’t now). They’re putting in the request for more PT so that can happen.
The PT doc and the student said I needed to work my quads, so I asked them if doing horse stances would be OK. They weren’t familiar with them so I demonstrated and they said YES! Now, I can practice that so I can get it ready for my triumphant return to karate.
