This is a super quick post just to give you a sample of how I keep track of what I eat. I’ve tried to make this as easy as possible for me to keep track and since my breakfast and snacks basically stay the same, I have a “Commopn Foods” section that saves that data. Any meals I prepare, I normally add all the nutritional info in an extra spread sheet and then divide the macro totals by the number of servings. I eat the same lunch 3-4 times a week, so that gets saved too.
The common food section also has my daily intake and the percentage “goals” for each macro. Every day I want to come close to the percentages and right around the calorie goal.
For each day, I just copy and paste my foods into the daily tracker and watch the totals and percentages. I normally keep my breakfast and snacks together so I can copy and paste that from Monday to Friday.
If you are trying to be pretty strict like I am, this is a helpful way to do it. And once your common foods are entered, it’s pretty easy!
